I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Energy and Process Engineering (EPT) at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Trondheim, Norway, affiliated with the Sustainable Energy Systems group. My research concentrates on data-driven control and optimal control methodologies, particularly model predictive control (MPC), aimed at optimizing building energy use and advancing sustainable energy systems.

Previously, I served as a Research Assistant at the Nonlinear Control Lab at Isfahan University of Technology (IUT), focusing on robust control of nonlinear real-time systems, such as Piezoelectric Actuators, Inverted Pendulum, and Twin Rotor MIMO systems. I also collaborated remotely with Dr. Amirmehdi Yazdani at Murdoch University in Australia on a unified data-driven framework for fault detection and fault-tolerant control in electrical devices and power systems.

My research portfolio primarily focuses on developing data-driven control strategies for dynamical systems, HVAC systems, and building energy management systems (BEMS) through the integration of suitable neural networks (NNs) with advanced control techniques, including robust, adaptive, and optimal control.

I obtained my M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (Control) from Isfahan University of Technology in 2022, achieving third position among all M.Sc. control engineering students, and my B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (Power) from Shahrekord University in 2019, where I attained first rank in my class.
